Our Goal is to save you time, money, and many hours of frustration by comparing affordable web hosting. We will recommend cheap web hosting, free tools and utilities to protect your computer data and more important your identity (Identity Theft). Here's how we are going to do it:
1. Money ($) The majority if not all the technical products we review and recommend will be absolutely free! If you add up the cost of products that you should be purchasing/upgrading each year to protect your data and your identity, our suggestions alone will save you hundreds of dollars a year. This doesn't even include the amount of money you will save from avoiding having to take your computer into a repair shop. Even if you are a technically savvy computer expert, we bet that you will find many of the utilities that we recommend great time saving resources.
2. Time We do the research for you so you don't have too. Not too mention the amount of time you will save by attempting to fix your own computer or worse, paying someone else to do it.
3. Peace of Mind: Lets face it, one identify theft can cost you literally thousands of dollars and months of attempting to re-establish or re-collect funds that they have hi-jacked.
Windows VistaTips & Tricks
Tip of the Month: Windows Vista Backup.
The windows Vista Backup Utility does not support backing up directly to CD recorders. However, if you plan your backups carefully you can accomplish the same goal in a two-step process. Back up to a file first, and then copy that backup file to a CD-RW disk. If you need to restore data from your backup set, you can do so directly from the CD. For this Procedure to work, you must ensure that you have enough free space to hold your backup files; you also have to plan your backups so that the resulting backup files will fit on a singe CD, because the Backup Utility won't prompt you for multiple CDs, as it will with other removable media. This might entail reorganizing your backup sets into two or more groups, with each one under MB in size.
If this sounds like too much trouble (we think so) subscribe to our FREE newsletter and we will recommend, and review free backup utilities that make it unnecessary to be a Windows Vista.
